Gary and Andrew
Gary Shilling began Shilling Construction after retiring from tech. Gary helped to start the computer science department at Kansas University in 1963. He has started and sold a few software companies and a probiotics company, consulted for the US Navy, sold a patented mathematical algorithm and likes to sail and ski moguls. Because of Gary’s tech experience, he helps clients see their vision in a 3D rendering prior to the project being approved. Gary enjoys designing and building and, most of the time, he loves working with his son, Andrew.
Andrew Shilling has been building and repairing or at least watching the work since he was a little boy. Andrew is an amazing carpenter, welder, mechanic and brother (pssst, his sister wrote this and built the website). Andrew helps to manage the teams that build, tile, drywall, plumb, do the electrical work and assures the work is quality along the way. Couple Andrew’s creativity with his ability to truly listen to a client and, well, the results are a happy customer. Andrew was an FM radio DJ in Kansas City and can give an audience goose bumps when he sings. Most of the time, Andrew loves working with his Dad, Gary.
